Wyndham LBV at Disney Springs
The Wyndham has always been one of my favorite spots to stay when I visit Walt Disney World Resort. Why is it a favorite? Well, for one you are staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort without the Walt Disney World Resort prices. Let’s face it, going to Disney is expensive so it always helps to save where you can.
Even though you’ll be saving lots of money on your room cost when staying at Wyndham LBV, a Disney Springs Resort Hotel, you won’t miss out on any Disney amenities.
The Wyndham is the closest resort to Disney Springs – just a short walk gets you right into the heart of all that Disney Springs offers.
The Wyndham LBV is actually two resorts in one! The Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs (which can be reserved for a lower cost) and the Tower rooms that offer stunning views of Disney and are a wee bit higher priced. The resort has also recently remodeled rooms in the Garden section, the pool area and the Oasis Pool Bar.
What is the Wyndham like now – Post Pandemic?
Post pandemic, the Wyndham LBV is taking the safety and health of their guests to a whole new level.
The associates are expected to follow the CDC recommendations for everyday actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases and guests are asked to do the same. Complete recommendations are available at www.cdc.gov.
The resort asks anyone entering the hotel, whether it be a guest or associate to:
- Avoid entering if you have a cough or fever
- Social Distancing is important. Maintain a minimum six-foot distance from others at all times. If 2 people are already in an elevator, please wait for the next one to arrive
- Sneeze and cough into your elbow if necessary
- Do not shake hands or engage in any unnecessary contact
- Wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds
For your Food & Beverage needs, the resort is offering the following services:
Joffrey’s coffee shop located on the lobby level from 7:00am to 12:00pm daily.
The Oasis Restaurant and Bar located poolside is open from 12:00pm until 8:00pm Monday through Friday and 10:00am to 8:00pm on Saturday and Sunday (hours subject to change). The restaurant features delicious sandwiches, salad, refreshing ice-cold beverages and more.
The Oasis Restaurant and Bar at the pool has a great menu of both food and drinks and the service is spectacular.
When these outlets are unavailable, it is recommended that you contact Domino’s Pizza at 407-239-1221 or for additional options, order online at WyndhamRewards.com/DoorDash.
Housekeeping Services are unavailable at this time, but the resort will conveniently leave a couple of plastic bags in the room for trash and dirty linen. Should you need any towels, linens, or toiletries during your stay, just stop by the front desk.
pool rules
The pool area is for registered guests only. No outside visitors are allowed. Pool towels are available at the front desk.
Pool Hours are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. The resort reserves the right to close the pool at ay time.
The hotel reserves the right to close the pool at any time. There are no glass containers allowed at the pool and no smoking in the pool area.
Any food and alcoholic beverages consumed in the pool area must be purchased from the Oasis Bar and Grill located poolside. No outside food and beverages are permitted in the pool area.
No animals allowed in the pool or pool area (exception of service animals).
Children under 12 must have adult supervision.
Practice safe habits per CDC guidelines. Social distancing is important. Maintain 6 feet distance from others whenever possible.
If using Spa only one family/group of 6 people or less at a time. If other guests are waiting to use the Spa, please limit your time to 20 minutes.
No outside coolers are being permitted in the pool areas.
Overall
I was super impressed with the Wyndham post pandemic. There are so many sanitation and health practices in place visiting really does make you feel at ease and safe.
The remodeled garden rooms are gorgeous! Very bright and beachy.
The resort is located directly across the street from Disney Springs and is an easy six minute walk across the pedestrian bridge right into Disney Springs. You can’t find a better location!
You are basically on Disney property at Disney Springs. The quick walk over the pedestrian bridge has you right in the heart of Disney Springs within minutes.
If you are looking to visit the Disney area and want a reasonably priced resort, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs is definitely the place to try. The procedures in place to help guests feel safe as they begin traveling again couldn’t be better.
