I was provided accommodations at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs as part of the We Grow Retreat. All opinions are my own.
About We Grow Retreat
We Grow Retreat is a yearly blogger retreat run by bloggers to help other bloggers grow their sites while relaxing and refreshing.
At We Grow Retreat there are no “professionals” at a podium telling you how to be a better blogger. You sit among 10 colleagues and learn from them. We all have something to give back to one another in a positive way.
We discuss brand relationships, social media best practices, SEO and whatever else that comes up over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
About the Wyndham
This is one of my favorite spots to stay when I visit Walt Disney World Resort. That is one of the reasons they were approached to host this year’s retreat. Why is it a favorite? Well, for one you are staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort without the Walt Disney World Resort prices. Let’s face it, going to Disney is expensive so it always helps to save where you can.
Even though you’ll be saving lots of money on your room cost when staying at a Disney Springs Resort Hotel, you won’t miss out on any Disney amenities. As an official Walt Disney World Resort you’ll get to enjoy buses (Disney buses) to the parks (every 30 minutes), Extra Magic Hours, booking of FastPass+ and more once you link your Wyndham resort to your My Disney Experience account
There’s a desk to purchase park passes in the lobby and a Disney Store too!
The Wyndham is actually two resorts in one! The Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs (which can be reserved for a lower cost) and the Tower rooms that offer stunning views of Disney and are a wee bit higher priced. All rooms, whether in the Garden area or the Tower, receive the same Disney amenities.
The Wyndham Garden rooms are currently under-going a massive refurbishment and I was fortunate to get a look at what the new rooms will look like when they are all complete.

The resort room refrigerators are the largest I have ever come across in a hotel room. I was able to fit a case of 36 bottles of water in it with lots of room to spare.
All of the employees are friendly, helpful and eager to make your vacation special. The Bell Services employees are rock stars!
The resort is located directly across the street from Disney Springs and is an easy six minute walk across the pedestrian bridge right into Disney Springs. You can’t find a better location!
The resort features a beautiful pool, a hot tub, and an aquatic playground for kids. You can also play basketball, volleyball, or tennis on one of the on-site courts, or work out in the 24/7 fitness center.
The Sundial Grab and Go Market and Coffee Bar is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day and offers a wide variety of foods, snacks, soft drinks and coffee.
Plus, don’t miss the Disney character breakfast three times per week. The breakfast is held each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in Wyndham Lake Buena Vista’s Lakeview Restaurant. And . . . it’s a fraction of the cost of any character breakfast at Disney resorts. Not only a fraction of the cost that makes the parents happy but the character (Pluto and Goofy) interactions are ideal for kids.
The characters never seem rushed and spend a wonderful amount of time at each table. The breakfast buffet offered is full of great choices, Mickey waffles, omelets, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage – you name it – it’s most likely on the buffet!
The Oasis Bar and Grill at the pool has a great menu of both food and drinks and the service is spectacular. The Eclipse Bar in the lobby offers cocktails and a bar menu and room service is also an option.
Conclusion
If you want every amenity that Walt Disney World resorts offer but don’t want to pay the high Disney prices, this resort is definitely the place to stay.
You are basically on Disney property at Disney Springs. The quick walk over the pedestrian bridge has you right in the heart of Disney Springs within minutes. Shuttles to the parks are reliable and on-time.
TIP: There is no airport shuttle offered. Uber/Lyft runs around $30 from the airport. If renting a car, be aware there is a daily parking fee at the resort.
