Specialty Drinks

All sorts of specialty drinks, from exotic coffees to alcoholic beverages for adults, are available on Disney cruises. However, if you want to partake in any of them, it costs extra and can add up quickly.

As a reminder, guests are not allowed to bring alcohol onto the ship. Disney Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call.

These beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage. Guests wishing to consume wine or champagne that they have brought on board in one of the dining rooms will be charged a corking fee of $25.00 per bottle.

Adult Only Dining

Palo and Remy adult only dining experiences require reservations and are not included in the your cruise fare. Both restaurants also have a strict dress code so you also won’t find any shorts or flip flops on the guests here.

Some Adult Activities

Disney cruises prides itself on activities meant to keep the adults in your party entertained. This includes spa access, bingo and wine tastings… just to name a few. The fee for many of these activities is not included with your cruise price, so be forewarned.

Shore Excursions

One of the most exciting aspects of a cruise is the on-shore excursions available in exotic locations. These excursions, known as Port Adventures on a Disney cruise, allow you to explore other cultures and add a level of excitement to your vacation.

The cost of this type of excursion is not factored into your fare and varies depending on excursion type and availability.

Wi-Fi Access

If you want to upload all of your vacation photos using Wi-Fi provided by the cruise line, it can get quite expensive. At the time of this writing, Wi-Fi access starts at $19 for just 100 MB.

However, you can use the free Disney Cruise Line navigator app regardless of whether or not you pay the Internet fee. The choice is up to you! You may also want to take this time to “unplug!”

Disney Photographers

Just like the photo packages available at Disney parks, Disney photographers are available during your cruise, to help ensure you have the opportunity to capture every wonderful moment of your vacation.

These photographers can even add characters, affects and other Disney magic to your photos. Much like PhotoPass in the parks, this perk costs extra.

Gratuities (Tips)

Unless you happen to book your cruise during a special promotion, gratuities are not included in your fare. Pay for these when you book or have them automatically added to your account when you board.

This gives you an idea of what’s not included on a Disney cruise. For more detailed information, consult your cruise line rep or travel agent when booking.
