This year’s Food and Wine Classic at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort will be held on October 31 and November 1. Having attended this event in the past, I can tell you that it is something not to miss if you are in the WDW area during that time. The event is open to the public – there is no need to be a guest of the Swan or the Dolphin. No matter where you are staying, you can purchase event and seminar tickets.
This year something new has been added – Beer Garden! for an additional fee added to your causeway ticket you will be able to include the specially build for this event Beer Garden that will be located on the Crescent Terrace. You will be able to travel around the terrace tasting beer after beer, including local and seasonal favorites, along with house-made “bar snacks.” Tickets to the Beer Garden will not be available individually and may only be purchased in combination with other ticket options.
Three new seminars have also been added this year:
- The Fine Art of Sushi and Sake
- The Cheese Course
- Pasta Making With Chef Cib
These seminars are in addition to those normally held during the Food and Wine Classic. You can read all about the available seminars on the Food and Wine Classic Website. The seminars fill up quickly so don’t delay your registration if you find one you would like to attend.
There will be live entertainment on both nights and if last year’s line up is repeated or an indication of the entertainment that will be on stage this year – you are in for a real treat!
Information regarding tickets, seminars, resort stay packages designed specifically for the weekend, food available, etc., can be found on the Fifth Annual Food and Wine Classic website HERE.
