TownePlace Suites (Marriott) Fayetteville (NC) Cross Creek – A Great Hotel

I was invited to visit Fayetteville, NC by the area Convention and Visitors Bureau. I received an all expense paid trip. All opinions are my own.

TownePlace Suites Fayetteville

As someone who travels often, this hotel is definitely on the top of my favorites list! I spend lots of time sleeping in hotels, eating in hotels, dealing with hotel staff. I can honestly say I haven’t stayed in a nicer spot in a long time. From the moment I walked into the lobby I was pleased with just about everything.

Fort Bragg, one of the largest military installations in the world, is located in Fayetteville, NC. As you can imagine, there are many families coming in and out of the area on a regular basis to visit their loved ones stationed at Fort Bragg. There couldn’t be a better spot for these families to stay. The only negative thing I can say about it is the name is a mouthful!

Studio Suites offer 2 Queen Beds

Large Bathrooms

Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Soap are from Paul Mitchell

The hotel by Marriott is a full suite hotel that offers many of the comforts of home at an unbelievably reasonable price (starting around $99 per night to $199 per night). The hotel offers various discounts – Military, Senior, Marriott Rewards, and AAA.There are suites sized from Studios to two bedroom suites. I stayed in a Studio and had a full kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, and microwave.

Sitting Area in Studio Suite

Within walking distance is a Walmart Super Center where you can purchase groceries. The hotel itself has a small convenience center with frozen microwavable foods, milk, juices and snacks.

The hotel also offers complimentary breakfast each day which was great. There are 2 or 3 breakfast items (eggs, waffles, bacon, etc.), cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, granola bars, coffee, tea and juices.

Also, within walking distance, are several brand restaurants such as Cracker Barrel, Memphis Barbecue Co., Logan Roadhouse and Waffle House.

Kitchen in Studio Suite. Coffee, Creamer, Condiments, Microwave Popcorn, Dish Soap, Paper Towel are all supplied by the hotel

Eating Area in Studio Suite

There is free coffee, tea and ice water available all day right off the lobby.

Let’s start with the front desk staff. FRIENDLY and EFFICIENT is an understatement! Not once – that’s right – not once did I walk by the front desk without a cheerful greeting. The few questions I had were answered without hesitation. This hotel is staffed by the very friendliest and nicest people.

Anyone you pass in the hallways (cleaning personnel, maintenance personnel, etc.) are friendly and greet you. The entire hotel is impeccably clean.

Fireplace on Outdoor Patio

The hotel offers a great pool outside in the rear and a courtyard patio in the front with great seating areas, a fireplace and a gas grill in case you want to grill a burger or a steak!

Breakfast Seating Area

Inside the seating area for breakfast is well laid out and also has an area of high top desk areas with charging stations for your laptop. The hotel also offers 2 computers where you can check-in for your flights or make local restaurant reservations.

I can’t begin to tell you how great this hotel was. I highly recommend it to anyone that will be visiting Fayetteville, NC in the future. Whether you travel alone, in a group, with or without kids, TownePlace Suites Fayetteville Cross Creek is a perfect place to stay. I only stayed a few days but left feeling like I was part of the “TownePlace Family!”
