Via Ferrata means the iron pathway. This is a climbing route that is protected and is found in the Alps and various other locations. Via Ferrata is a hardened cable that goes lengthways the ascending route and is sporadically secured to the rocks. This great pinnacle of the dolomites is known globally to hikers and climbers.

During the world war, the Italians and the Austro-Hungarian militaries fought each other on the walls of these mountains. And to be successful, Italians had to fix wire cables and iron ladders to the rock. You can go and enjoy the recreational use of these sites.
