When in the mood for good basic food – The Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion is the place to go. It has long been one of my favorites – the food is good – served family style and all you can eat, which makes it an outstanding value for your money if you have a family of big eaters. When my kids were young, the chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese offered for the children was definitely their favorite.
Chip and Dale are the resident characters and make their way around the restaurant almost continuously. They are willing to spend time at each table taking pictures and signing autographs.
Every table has a great constantly changing view of Living with the Land as the circular restaurant slowly rotates passing by all of the scenes below.
Dinner includes platters of beef, turkey and fish, plus fresh salad, warm dinner rolls with maple butter, buttermilk mashed potatoes and fresh steamed vegetables, followed by a fruit cobbler dessert – and remember – it is all served family style and all you can eat. All you have to do is ask your server and they will gladly re-fill each bowl and platter. Some of the veggies most likely were grown in the Living with the Land greenhouses below.
The cost for dinner is $15 for children and $29.99 for adults and reservations are recommended. The Disney Dining Plan is also accepted and one table service credit will be used for your meal.
The Garden Grill is definitely a great value!
