This software plan is all about enhanced photo editing and convenience with the multi-screen capabilities provided by the Cloud.
You will have access to all your photos on your local hard drive on your computer through Lightroom for desktop. You can continue to import and organize photos through export, Publish, Print, Web, or Slideshow (Access to the Develop & Map modules, as well as Lightroom for mobile, will no longer be available after your membership ends).
An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license your Creative Cloud app(s), but you can use the app(s) in offline mode with a valid software license. Annual members can use the app for up to 99 days in offline mode. Desktop applications are installed directly on your computer, so you don’t need an ongoing Internet connection to use them. Creative Cloud desktop applications can be downloaded and installed on multiple computers, regardless of operating system. However, activation is limited to two machines per individual associated with the membership. I’ll admit I struggled just a little, not because it’s a difficult process, but because there is so much that can be it was just a little over-whelming. This is a great software at an affordable price. Lightroom helps you create a professional product and unless you are extremely advanced, with no need to use Photoshop very much. I personally find Photoshop sort of complicated so I have tried to keep most of my edits in Lightroom. I hope to eventually get better using the Photoshop portion and it’s nice to know that it’s there, all ready for me.
