Walt Disney World is known for it’s delicious dining options and it’s snack selection is no exception. Magic Kingdom is the main park at Walt Disney World and home to some of it’s most delicious fare.
Although I am sad to note that the giant turkey leg is not as widely available as it once was, I am excited to share with you my 5 Must-have Magic Kingdom Snacks!
Dole Whip
Let’s just get the obvious out of the way, shall we? The best soft serve ice cream that you will ever have, making converts even out of those who claim not to like pineapple – you may not like pineapple, but you will love a Dole Whip!
The Dole Float is a delicious twist on the Whip, it’s just put in a cup and surrounded by pineapple juice – making it a slightly more refreshing treat.
The Dole Whip is available at the Aloha Isle Refreshments in Adventureland.
Caramel-Chocolate Apple
Available at the Main Street Confectionery, this is a bit of an expensive treat, starting at $11, but it is well-worth it and big enough to share!
The apple is a bit too difficult to enjoy at the parks, making it a great take-home treat to enjoy as you flip through your vacation photos, possibly with a family member that wasn’t able to join you.
Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae
Not only is this a delicious treat, it’s an awesome souvenir to boot!
If you can’t fathom eating three scoops of ice cream topped with hot fudge, strawberry sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and cherries — and paying $23 for it, then a cone or waffle bowl of ice cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (the same location that sells the Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae) might be a better fit for you.
Mickey Pretzel
A Mickey-shaped treat is a must-do when you’re visiting the Magic Kingdom, and while you can easily make Mickey-shaped Rice Krispie treats and cookies at home, a perfect soft pretzel is a bit harder to come by. It’s also a nice break if you’re indulging in a lot of sweet snacks.
Available at popcorn carts throughout the parks.
Giant Cinnamon Roll
Although Gaston’s Tavern doesn’t have a huge selection, everything they offer is amazing and delicious. I almost picked LeFeo’s Brew for the 5th item on this list, but it’s a drink not a snack so I went with the Giant Cinnamon Roll.
Be sure to ask for it with extra cream cheese frosting – you will not be disappointed.
