Road Trip! 10 RV Parks in California

If you are looking for great places to RV camp in the United States, California should pop up in your mind. The warm weather almost all year round contributes a great deal to the attraction for most who are looking for the perfect camping spot to visit. 

The amazing landscapes comprised of beautiful beaches, forests, mountains, valleys, and even deserts make for an amazing and welcoming visit. 

You will have a hard time making a choice on where to park your RV when you visit California. Hopefully this post will make your work a bit easier by presenting some of the best choices for RV parks in California.

Santa Cruz Ranch RV Park

This park is located near Carbanero Creek and it is just a 10 minutes’ drive into Santa Cruz. It is a perfect combination of living in the woods while still having access to all the modern amenities you need. 

There are numerous Indian grinding rocks around this park and activities you can engage in include surfing, diving, sailing or kayaking.

49er Village RV Park

The 49er RV Park is located in Columbia, CA. It is one of the oldest parks in California, dating back to the 19th century. It served as a haven for people seeking to get rich during the gold rush in the 1850s. 

People would come with their wagons and spend time here while prospecting for gold in the nearby mountains. No wonder the place has evolved into one of the best RV parks in the state. 

Amenities available include WI-FI and a pool. You can hike, sightsee or just relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Mountain Gate RV Park

This park is located near Mt. Shasta, which makes the place ideal for mountain climbing enthusiasts. There is also a lake nearby for those seeking to enjoy some time on the water. 

You will have access to all the amenities you may want. Everything in this place has been designed to offer campers utmost comfort during their camping escapades.

Orange Grove RV Park

At the Orange Grove RV Park, you can park your RV between beautiful, shaded orange trees in this park and you will immediately understand where it gets its name. The neighborhood offers a ton of activities you can engage in and the park itself has all the amenities you might need. 

After a long day, indulge yourself at the pool or hit the gym to refresh. They have laundry facilities and restrooms as well.

Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville

This park is located near Napa Valley, the wine-growing region of California. They have rental cabins in the event that you might not want to bring your RV along.

The amenities are plenty including a swimming pool, laundry facilities, WIFI access, and laundry services.

Anaheim RV park

This park, located in Orange County, is another amazing spot to RV camp. Its almost central location allows you to experience beautiful things happening around you.

You have easy access to Hollywood, Disneyland and other attractions in Southern California. Perfect for people who want to sightsee and still get to enjoy the RV camping experience.

Pioneer RV Park

If you enjoy seclusion, this is the place to go. This park is well hidden in the forests of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is easily accessible though, and there are a lot of amenities on site.

You can have a quiet day here to relax and enjoy the surrounding. Swim, hike, walk and enjoy the natural beauty all around you.

Clio’s Rivers Edge RV Park

This spot offers great views of the Sierra Mountains and some of the attractions here include horse-back riding and golfing. There are numerous amenities also, designed for your comfort.

California’s RV Resort

This resort is close to Los Angeles but far enough away to enable you to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the camping grounds. It is only about 40 minutes from Hollywood and this guarantees that you will have numerous attractions waiting for you. Golfing is the main activity here.

Boulder Creek RV Resort

This is a small, family-run park that has been very successful over the years. There are many events being held here and if you get to be in one, you will have a lot of fun. 

The resort has great facilities as well, including a sauna and a spa for relaxation after a long day of exploring the wild.
