The Polite Pig Disney Springs is located near the Town Center fountain, and is easy to spot as you descend from the Lime Garage escalator or stroll through the promenade.
The Polite Pig Disney Springs
Although listed as a quick-service restaurant, the restaurant can’t be beat for a great sit-down lunch or dinner. I would refer to it as more of a fast, casual BBQ spot rather than quick service.

You place your order at the counter, find a table (indoor or outdoor) and your food is brought to your table when ready. If you sit at the outdoor bar, the bartender will take your order and your food will be brought to you.
Since they’ve opened I’ve walked by hundreds of time and each time I go by the aroma really makes me stop. I couldn’t wait to see if the food was as good as it smells!
You definitely need to bring your appetite. The portions are large and the food is absolutely delicious!

The restaurant features a variety of wood-fired smoked and grilled items, Florida craft beers, drinks on tap and a bourbon bar featuring over 60+ selections. The menu serves up the best seasonal food that Florida has to offer, and brings new twists to local flavors and BBQ.
The Polite Pig is a sister restaurant to The Ravenous Pig in Winter Park and features a variety of wood-fired smoked and grilled items as well as an innovative beverage program that serves all drinks on tap, including locally brewed Ravenous Pig Brewing Co. beer.
As far as I’m concerned, a trip to Disney Springs won’t be complete without a stop at The Polite Pig for a meal. The food is great and so is the service!
Fast service, friendly faces (masks with smiles in their eyes and voices). Food was amazing! If you love BBQ, give it a try! Melts in your mouth!
We started with a sampling of a few of their most popular cocktails and we were not disappointed.

The Polite Punch was by far my favorite. It’s a mixture of ight rum, whiskey, passion fruit juice, lime, and bitters. I would definitely say to be careful though since it doesn’t taste as if you are drinking alcohol so I wouldn’t over do it.

Next came some appetizers and a beer flight!

The main event for sure was the Butcher Board (for 2). I personally think it could feed more than 2 people with no problem. One piece was more delicious than the next.
You can add your favorite sauce from the various BBQ sauces offered. Each sauce is named after one of the owner’s children! My favorite – Layla’s Sweet Sauce. I’m definitely like mine sweeter so it was bound to be my favorite.

Everything we ate was tender and had a nice smoked flavor to it (not weak/not too strong). All of the sides we sampled were fresh and delicious, with the crispy, whiskey caramel brussels sprouts being the star.
There is plenty of seating, both inside and outside. The entire restaurant offers a very comfortable and unassuming atmosphere.
Overview
Would I recommend The Polite Pig – YES! Without a doubt.

I think the prices are reasonable for good food on Walt Disney World property. It’s definitely a good value for your dollar.
Service is quick and pleasant. Even though you place your order at the counter, it is delivered to your table. Once delivered the servers do not forget about you. They stop by to be sure you have everything you need or to check if you would like something else.

The atmosphere is casual, inviting, fun and you won’t feel rushed.
The food is delicious. There was nothing in our sampling of foods that wasn’t outstanding and top-notch.
If cocktails are your thing – you can’t beat the choice of bourbons and beers. The flights offered let you get a good sampling.
Because it’s listed as quick service it is one of those spots on Disney property that doesn’t need a reservation made weeks and weeks in advance. This is something that really appeals to me. I don’t know what I’m in the mood to eat tomorrow so I surely have an issue with having to plan weeks, even months, in advance.
