I was recently hosted at Paradiso 37 at Disney Springs in Orlando. All opinions are my own.
Dining out is definitely different now that locations are reopening after the COVID-19 shut downs. Seating and capacity is limited. Menus are limited. Extra sanitation is taking place. We all walk through the restaurant in our masks until we reach our table.
Dining out at Disney Springs is definitely going well!
Paradiso 37 Disney Springs – Pre-Pandemic Closing
A Celebration of Cuisine and Culture is what Paradiso 37 Disney Springs was and what it continues to be!
Radiating Latin flair, the restaurant-meets-bar is a fun spot to go when you’re seeking an upbeat atmosphere, live music and the option to dine al fresco—clinching a table on the spacious terrace is a must during sunset hour.
Paradiso 37’s other standout features include an illuminated tequila bar boasting more than 50 brands and an array of hard-to-pass-up desserts.
I was excited recently to have the opportunity to dine at Paradiso 37 to see how they were holding up.
Paradiso 37 Disney Springs – After ReOpening
An important message about COVID-19 and the reopening of their restaurant directly from their website:
It has been a challenging time for all of us and we want to express our sincere concern for everyone who has been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19). Following an extended closure we are excited to welcome you back to our restaurant. After evaluating State of Florida and local guidelines and instructions regarding reopening, we are reopening Paradiso 37 as part of the Disney Springs® phased reopening on May 20th. We look forward to opening our doors again and serving you in a safe environment with the utmost precautions.
The health and well-being of our guests and employees is our top priority, so we are approaching our reopening with this principle in mind first and foremost. It is our goal to promote the health and safety of our guests and employees going forward so we are going above and beyond the local requirements to ensure your health and safety. We have therefore established an enhanced protocol that includes the following:
- Limiting the number of guests in the dining room per the guidelines established by the State of Florida
- Screening employees and guests for temperature and other health indications
- Always promoting and adhering to social distancing rules
- Employees wearing gloves and masks
- Providing guests with disposable menus
- Continuous cleaning and sanitation practices in place throughout our restaurant including tables, chairs, doors, check presenters, waiting areas and restrooms
- Sanitizing and cleaning chairs and tables after each meal
- Having hand sanitizer available to guests in places throughout our dining room
The menu is definitely smaller than pre-pandemic but there is more than enough for everyone to choose from.
The waterfront location in Disney Springs is still a great place to enjoy incredible appetizers and delicious entrées.
The service is outstanding and everyone definitely made you feel as if they were on top of sanitizing and social distancing while still making sure you have a great dining experience.
I have always said that when it comes to food, a picture is worth a thousand words because sometimes you just can’t describe how good something is!
The food was so good – I ate Waaaaaay too much – I’m really wishing I had more of these french fries!
Overall
Would I recommend a visit to Paradiso 37 during this limited menu and limited capacity time? YES! Absolutely! It should always be on your Disney Springs dining list.
I could have made an entire meal of just the appetizers and I confess to taking more than half of my chicken home with me because I wanted to be sure to taste everything!
Even if it takes quite some time for the restaurant to go back to it’s pre-pandemic full menu, I’m sure you’ll be more than happy with your dining experience at Paradiso 37 Disney Springs.
