The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista has long been my favorite Disney Springs resort. It’s a short few minute walk across the pedestrian bridge right into Disney Springs.
The rooms were always great but are even better now that they have been refurbished.
The property has tons to offer. The rates are outstanding. Staying at the Wyndham has you staying right in the heart of all things Walt Disney World without the Disney price tag. I actually prefer the rooms at the Wyndham over many of the rooms in the official WDW resorts.
Oasis Wyndham Lake Buena Vista
Many believe that the Oasis Bar & Grill at the Wyndham is a typical pool bar. This can’t be further from the truth.
The Oasis serves lunch & dinner and is open daily from noon to 7 p.m. (weather permitting of course since it is partially outside. Ideal for casual outdoor dining under the beautiful Florida sunshine, the newly re-imagined poolside eatery features delicious food and refreshing beverages.
The bar staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxed.
You won’t even need to worry about the rare cooler weather. The recently remodeled Oasis offers remote controlled screens that enclose the area as well as overhead heaters. All of this makes for a really comfortable spot even when the weather is chilly.
Along with the regular menu the restaurant offers daily specials too. They feature delicious sandwiches, salads, refreshing ice-cold beverages and more.
OH! The wings! Some of the best I’ve tasted in a long time.
There is a great variety of frozen cocktails and beer offered that you can enjoy around the bar or poolside.
The resort and the Oasis Bar & Grill has thought of just about everything to make for a wonderful afternoon or evening relaxing in the almost always perfect Florida weather.
More About the Wyndham
Why is the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista a favorite? Well, for one you are staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort without the Walt Disney World Resort prices. Let’s face it, going to Disney is expensive so it always helps to save where you can.
Even though you’ll be saving lots of money on your room cost when staying at a Disney Springs Resort Hotel, you won’t miss out on any Disney amenities.
The Wyndham is actually two resorts in one! The Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs (which can be reserved for a lower cost) and the Tower rooms that offer stunning views of Disney and are a wee bit higher priced.
The resort room refrigerators are the largest I have ever come across in a hotel room. You can fit a case of water in it with lots of room to spare.
All of the employees are friendly, helpful and eager to make your vacation special.
The resort is located directly across the street from Disney Springs and is an easy few minute walk across the pedestrian bridge right into Disney Springs. You can’t find a better location!
The resort features a beautiful pool, a hot tub, and an aquatic playground for kids. You can also play basketball, volleyball, or tennis on one of the on-site courts, or work out in the 24/7 fitness center.
All of this is made so much better by the Oasis Bar & Grill. A perfect spot to relax away an afternoon or evening!
During this difficult and uncertain travel time, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is taking the safety and health of their guests to a whole new level. Social distancing and sanitation measures are in full swing and followed by all staff.
I was super impressed with the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista pandemic procedures. There are so many sanitation and health practices in place, visiting really does make you feel at ease and safe.
