It’s Dino Week! Let’s Celebrate with The Good Dinosaur New Clips and Activity Sheets

Dino Week starts today (November 14 through November 22) and there’s no better way to celebrate than with some new clips and activity sheets from “The Good Dinosaur” (opening November 25th). In one of the new sneak-peek clips, Arlo befriends a group of young T-Rexes (Anna Paquin and AJ Buckley) and their tough-talking pa, Butch (Sam Elliott), who offers Arlo a story about his great showdown with a croc. In the another new clip, they try to teach Arlo how to survive in the wild. The third clip features an emotional moment between Arlo and Arlo’s father (voiced by Jeffrey Wright) where Arlo learns that facing your fears can sometimes lead to beautiful moments.

“An Apatosaurus named Arlo and his unlikely human friend travel through a harsh and mysterious landscape, where Arlo learns to confront his fears, discovering what he is truly capable of.”

Butch’s Scar! Hear the tale straight from Butch – in Sam Elliott’s booming baritone voice!

Jobs! – Arlo has a job to do:

Get Through Your Fear! “Sometimes you gotta get through your fear to see the beauty on the other side.”

Family traditions are a huge part of my family’s Thanksgiving weekend. That weekend always means leftover turkey and pie and a family trip to see the latest movie. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to the newest Disney•Pixar release: “The Good Dinosaur” which debuts nationwide on November 25th. The movie excitement is already in the air and hypes up this weekend with “Dino Week!”

Every Pixar movie tells a story with a lesson and the lessons that will come through during “The Good Dinosaur” are friendship and courage.  Along with the lesson, I can’t wait to see the reported beautiful scenery that’s included in the film.

Will you be heading to see “The Good Dinosaur” with your family Thanksgiving weekend? I hope so! To help the kids get into the excitement ~ here are some great activity sheets too that include a Dino adventure game, a maze and a make your own Dino-rama tutorial.

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?  Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. Directed by Peter Sohn and produced by Denise Ream (“Cars 2”), Disney•Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” opens in theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.

Voice Cast:  Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner, Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Steve Zahn, AJ Buckley, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott
