It Really Is Wonderful to See Her! Newest Mary Poppins Returns Clip

Each time I see a clip or another new image from Mary Poppins Returns, I get just a little nostalgic. The original Mary Poppins was one of my very favorites growing up. In 1964 I was 10 years old and I was totally smitten with Mary.

My parents had recently divorced, my mother had gone to work. Each day after school I was sent into the convent for the nuns to watch me do homework while I waited for my mother to come from work.

While I sat at the kitchen table in the convent, I secretly wished Mary Poppins was my nanny. I truly wanted to dance with penguins and have a spoonful of sugar with each dose of medicine I took. I wanted to go fly a kite.

I think I must have watched the original movie 50 times! It was such a wonderful place to visit. Mary was the perfect nanny.

I am anxiously waiting for Mary to return – It really is wonderful to see her again!
