I recently had the opportunity to dine at Il Mulino New York Trattoria located in the Walt Disney World® Swan. I was excited to try Il Mulino since I had sampled some of their food last year at the Food and Wine Classic held each year at the Walt Disney World® Swan and Dolphin and those samples were delicious. What a wonderful dining experience it was! The atmosphere is upscale without that “too quiet” feeling so kids are welcome. The menu offers something for everyone – from pizza to beautifully prepared meals. Il Mulino is definitely worth visiting the next time you are in the Walt Disney World® area. The prices are reasonable for an outstanding meal, and the service is spectacular.
Our meal started with a simple plate of sauteed eggplant and two different fresh breads.

For an appetizer three of us shared the Cozze o Vongole – Muscles with Garlic White Wine Sauce ($12). These were delicious. I personally could have made a meal of this appetizer with bread and a salad!

We each ordered a different meal planning to share each entree so that we could all get a taste of each. Unfortunately – we all ate our entrees quickly and decided we didn’t want to share! Not on the menu was a Grouper Special –

Manicotti – Baked pasta stuffed with ricotta and spinach ($24) – the best manicotti you could ever taste!

Penne Rigate served with Il Mulino original marinara sauce and ricotta cheese –
The menu offers a large variety of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, also reasonably priced.
The dessert menu is not large but a few of the items offered (Italian cheesecake or Tiramisu for example) seemed too much to order after our meals so we agreed to stick to a lighter dessert.
And…our meal was topped off by a wonderful serving of Limoncello – to cleanse our palates!
The service/product mentioned was provided to the blogger free of charge – however, all opinions are my own.
