Tickets

There are several ticket options for SeaWorld Orlando.

A Single Day Ticket is $89.99. Tickets purchased for a specific date can only be used on that date. For an extra $35, you can add an All Day Dining Pass to your ticket for a total of $124.98.

All Day Dining Passes include 1 entree, 1 side or 1 dessert + 1 regular sized beverage (non-alcohol), you can go through the line up to once per hour. This is good for the entire day until 30 minutes before the park closes. A photo ID is required when redeeming All Day Dining Passes and only the person listed on the pass can redeem.

Two Park Tickets are also available for $118.99. Participating parks include SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa, and Adventure Island. For an extra $25 you can add the All Day Dining Pass for a total of $168.99.

SeaWorld Orlando offers both general and preferred parking. General Parking – $25 per day

GETTING TO SEAWORLD ORLANDO

Flying: The closest airport to SeaWorld is Orlando International Airport (MCO). It’s an easy 20 minute drive from MCO to the SeaWorld Orlando theme park.

From The Airport: In terms of getting from the airport to your accommodations, there are many options. Rent a car from the airport and drive yourself to your accommodations, but keep in mind you will also need to pay $25-$30 per day to park your car at SeaWorld.

You can also take an Uber, Lyft or taxi from MCO, all of these should cost between $20-$30. There is the option of booking a shuttle service from the airport, a popular Orlando choice is Mears.

WHERE TO STAY AT SEAWORLD ORLANDO

SeaWorld is such an amazing theme park, and it’s the perfect place for a family vacation. The park’s location in Orlando means you have plenty of options in terms of lodging. While there are no hotels within the park, there are a plethora of options in Orlando that are partnered with SeaWorld. These hotels are in close proximity, provide complimentary shuttle services, and even offer discounts on dining and shopping at the park.

The Renaissance Orlando SeaWorld is a great base for your trip to the SeaWorld parks. Enjoy the spacious rooms and find yourself completely relaxed poolside. Hilton Garden Inn Orlando at SeaWorld – 6805 Westwood Blvd, Orlando, FL 32821. Drive Time: 10 minutes. Walk Time: 12 minutes

The Hilton Garden Inn is located just across the street from the SeaWorld Orlando entrance. The 224 guest rooms at the hotel offer large rooms, free wifi, and the choice of king or two queen beds. The on-site Garden Grill serves a delicious breakfast buffet, perfect for grabbing a bite before heading to SeaWorld.

In the evening adults can unwind in Sting Ray’s Lounge for happy hour and light bites. This is a great option for those wanting a base close to the park.

The TownePlace is great for families, solo travelers and couples looking for a romantic escape. The 188 room hotel has a relaxing atmosphere complete with tranquil coastal touches. Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld – 10100 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32821. Drive Time: 12 minutes. Walk Time: 13 minutes 

This 28 acre resort is located in one of the most desirable locations in Orlando, the theme park district, and is only a 12 minute drive or a 13 minute walk from SeaWorld. Not only are the rooms spacious, they also offer spectacular views of the SeaWorld park and downtown Orlando.

Enjoy 2 beautiful pools or have fun playing SeaWorld themed putt-putt with the whole family. The resort has several dining options, whether you are looking for a quick bite or a fine dining experience. This hotel is also pet friendly for those who are planning to bring their pups along to Orlando. This is a great option for families with plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. 

Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at SeaWorld – 10815 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32821. Drive Time: 8 minutes.  Walk Time: 25 minutes 

The Fairfield Inn & Suites is the perfect place to relax and reminisce after exciting days spent at SeaWorld. The family can enjoy an arcade room featuring both new and vintage games. SEAWORLD ORLANDO’S INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

 SeaWorld Orlando is committed to ensuring that you have a great time during your visit.

If rain just won’t go away during your visit you can receive a complimentary visit to the park within 1 year or your original visit. Whether it’s simply sprinkling or down pouring, simply head to the Guest Service Counter to submit your information for your return visit. You must have your valid ticket with you at this time.

There are a few exemptions to the Inclement Weather Policy. These include complimentary tickets, certain ticket packages, and guests who are unable to provide their original admission ticket. Promotional and discounted tickets, as well as promotional multi-day tickets, may not be eligible either.

WHEN TO VISIT SEAWORLD ORLANDO

Generally the best time of year to visit SeaWorld Orlando is mid-January to mid February. The weather is amazing and both hotel prices and ticket prices are a bit lower. Another good time is September through early November.

It’s a good idea to keep Atlantic Hurricane season in mind when planning your trip to SeaWorld Orlando. The season is typically June through November, and peak season is August through October. Visiting during this time can be risky.

RULES FOR SEAWORLD ORLANDO

No outside food, beverages, or cooler of any size are permitted in the park. Weapons of any kind are prohibited, as well as drones, skateboards and roller skates.

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park and neither is marijuana, drug paraphernalia, or any other illegal substances. Glass bottles, straws, and cans are not permitted in the park. You can bring a refillable
water bottle. Smoking is permitted but only at designated locations.

Children under 2 years of age get into SeaWorld Orlando for free.

Active military personnel get a 50% discount on tickets thanks to the Wave Of Honor program.

SECURITY AT SEAWORLD

Security at SeaWorld is designed to keep all guests as safe as possible during their visit. For that reason all bags and backpacks are subject to inspection. You cannot bring weapons, glass bottles, sharp objects, cans, straws, coolers or any hazardous materials into the park.

Ice Breaker – The brand new Ice Breaker coaster has Florida’s steepest beyond vertical drop. This is
SeaWorld’s first launch coaster and even features a reverse launch! You’ll experience exciting twists and turns on this thrilling coaster that is anything but chill. The height requirement for Ice Breaker is 48 inches.

Mako – The Mako coaster was rated #1 Best Roller Coaster by the readers of USA Today in 2021. This extreme coaster is the tallest and fastest in Orlando. Named after one of the fastest sharks in the ocean, Mako reaches speeds of 73 mph. The height requirement is 54 inches for this wild and thrilling ride.

Super Groover’s Box Car Derby – The furry superhero Groover will show you a racing good time on this family friendly coaster. The perfect first roller coaster experience for kids is Super Groover’s Box Car Derby. It’s packed with fun hills, mini dips, and exciting turns for a thrilling experience for the kids. The minimum height is 38 inches.

Cookie Drop – On the Cookie Monster’s Cookie Drop you’ll be carried away just like a cookie crumb! This family friendly ride is a small drop tower that will have you giggling in no time. The minimum height requirement for Cookie Drop is 42 inches.

LIVE PRESENTATIONS AND SHOWS

Dolphin Adventure This brand new presentation explores the incredible world of the bottlenose dolphin, the well-known ambassador of SeaWorld. Share in their story in this lively new presentation at Dolphin Stadium.

Sea Lion and Otter Spotlight – You’ll find this brand new show at the Pacific Point Marine Conservation Center. Enjoy as you discover more about the fascinating lives of California Sea Lions and Asian Otters. You’ll learn about their skills, characteristics, and behaviors in this show spotlighting these amazing animals.

Dolphin Nursery – At the Dolphin Nursery, you can watch as mothers and their calves navigate the waters of SeaWorld. Newborn dolphins and their mothers stay in the nursery until they are able to fend for themselves. This is a spectacular place to introduce kids to the beauty of life.

ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS AT SEAWORLD ORLANDO

Beluga Encounter – $60.00 per person.

The beluga whale is undoubtedly one of the coolest animals at SeaWorld! In this encounter you will participate in a training session. You’ll also learn about the spectacular beluga as you see how they are cared for on this 30 minute walking tour.

Sea Lion Up Close Tour $45.00 per person

On this Up Close Tour you’ll get to meet a friendly sea lion! Not only will you have a photo opportunity, but you’ll also take part in a feeding at the Pacific Point Preserve. Sea lions are famously goofy and this encounter is sure to be tons of fun!

Dolphin Up Close Tour – $50 per person

This 30 minute hands on tour shows you just what it takes to be a dolphin care specialist at SeaWorld. You’ll have your picture taken with a dolphin and help the specialist in a training session with a family of dolphins. In the end, you’ll practice what you’ve learned and get the dolphins to perform some tricks.

Killer Whale Up Close Tour – $99.00 per person

If the Orca Encounter interested you then consider going beyond to an Up Close Tour featuring the parks Killer Whales. After some once in a lifetime, one on one interactions with the orcas, you can pose for a very rare photo with one. And you can ask a killer whale specialist any questions you may have about these beauties.

DINING AT SEAWORLD

SeaWorld Orlando has some truly great dining options and experiences. Did you know that the park only serves sustainable seafood? It’s true! SeaWorld takes sustainability to the next level by not allowing plastic straws in the park because they can choke animals.

Not only are there a plethora of great dining options within the park, but they also have an amazing dining experience, Up Close Dining With Orcas. Use this guide to the best eats at SeaWorld Orlando to choose the best restaurants for your family. 

All Day Dining Passes

The Lakeside Grill gives you stunning dining views from an outdoor dining patio. Located next to the aquarium, this eatery has a winning combination of stunning views, great music and delicious food.

At Captain Pete’s Island Hot Dogs, a quick stop, you’ll find Nathan’s World Famous Hot Dogs. Don’t forget to try their famous fries and specialty beverages.  

Chicken is what’s on the menu at the Seafire Grill. Between the hand breaded fried chicken sandwich, grilled chicken wrap, and the chicken tenders, you’re sure to find something to hit the spot. Don’t forget to try dessert here!  

Known as the best BBQ in Orlando, you’ll want to try Voyager’s Smokehouse. The use of genuine hickory wood makes the flavors at Voyager’s to die for! Try the Texas style brisket or the St. Louis style BBQ ribs.

The Waterway Grill takes its inspiration from regions around the Amazon. These flavors are sure to delight even the most discerning of diners. Try the grilled churrasco steak and sweet plantains! The Waterway Bar is a great place to grab a beer or cocktail on a warm Orlando day.

Glacier Bar – In this brand new bar you can catch all the sports action while enjoying seasonal beers, cocktails, frozen drinks and more. You’ll find this bar in Wild Arctic, where you can take in the 360 degree views of the newest coaster, Ice Breaker. If you’re hungry you can also have small bites exclusive to Glacier Bar including flatbreads and an adult take on an ice cream sandwich.

Edy’s Ice Cream Parlor – At this brand new ice cream parlor you can enjoy 14 different flavors of Edy’s Ice Cream. Or try a monster shake like Peanut Butter Cookie Dough or Cookies and Cream. If you’ve got a major sweet tooth don’t miss the enormous brownie sundaes or hand dipped cones. You’ll find the ice cream parlor by the Dolphin Nursery.

Coaster Coffee Company – If you need a morning pick me up, head straight to Coaster Coffee Company, a Starbucks located right in the park. You can also grab tasty sweet treats such as cupcakes, pastries and other assorted baked goods. This coffee shop is close to the park entrance and the Manta coaster, making it the perfect pit stop on your way into the park.

Mama’s Pretzel Kitchen – At Mama’s Pretzel Kitchen you’ll find sweet and savory pretzel creations, as well as frozen drinks and draft beer. Located near the Orca Encounter, this eatery features specialty pretzel creations like the Bacon Cheeseburger Pretzel and the Pepperoni Pizza Pretzel.

Sharks Underwater Grill and Bar – A dining experience you won’t soon forget! As you dine you can enjoy spectacular underwater views at this signature full service restaurant. As you enjoy your window into the world of sharks, enjoy entrees like Filet Mignon or Tempura Shrimp. Try fun themed cocktails like the Puffin’s Kiss or the Mako Margarita. Reservations for the Sharks Underwater Grill and Bar can be made at the host podium starting at 11 am. This restaurant has been voted one of the best in Orlando.

DINING EXPERIENCES

Dine With Orcas – This is Orlando’s most immersive dining experience. With this experience you’ll dine next to the orcas who call SeaWorld home. You can watch the special care that each animal receives as you dine on herb roasted beef or pan seared salmon. After your meal you can get up close to the orcas and learn more about their natural habitat. Dining With Orcas does come with additional add-on costs: Adults (10+) – $29.00 – Children (3-9) – $15.00  – Infants – Free 

It is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance.

AQUATICA ORLANDO

Grab your sunscreen, sunglasses and your swimsuit and get ready to visit Aquatica Orlando! SeaWorld’s waterpark is an aquatic wonderland where you can get a thrill from slides or simply relax on the sand by the wave pool.

Aquatica is perfect for the whole family and will keep everyone entertained while beating the Florida heat. Themed after the lush landscapes of Australia and New Zealand, Aquatica is a can’t miss attraction in Orlando!

Aquatica Sunny Day Guarantee

If your day at Aquatica is ruined by rain the Sunny Day Guarantee ensures that you can exchange a single day ticket for a Sunny Day Ticket. These tickets are valid for 1 year after the original date. Guests must exit the park and give proof of paid admission before a Sunny Day Ticket can be issued. Park amenities are non-refundable and do not apply to Sunny Day Tickets.

Aquatica Orlando Park Rules

Admission to the park is limited and once capacity is reached admission may be suspended for the day. 

Appropriate swimwear must be worn at this family friendly park. Thong swimsuits are not permitted. Children wearing diapers must also wear a waterproof protector. Swimwear with buckles, rivets or other sharp objects is not permitted. 

Personal cameras are not permitted on waterslides or tube attractions. 

Each ride has posted safety warning signs at the entrance, pay attention to those signs. 

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. 

RIDES AND ATTRACTIONS AT AQUATICA

Waterslides

Reef Plunge – The Reef Plunge takes you on an exhilarating ride through 330 feet of translucent rings. The height requirement is 42 inches for this one of a kind adventure that has you zooming past dolphins and leopard sharks. 

Riptide Race – This attraction is the world’s tallest dueling racer. Riptide Race is an adrenaline pumping water slide where you race your opponents to a watery finish line. You’ll start 48 feet in the air before racing through 650 feet of this extreme slide. The height requirement is 42 inches with supervision and 48 inches without supervision. 

Ray Rush  – On this family raft slide you’ll launch into twisting turns before diving into a manta wing. The height requirement is 42 inches and the max load is between 3-6 people. The combined weight of the raft cannot exceed 250 lbs and single and double riders are not permitted on Ray Rush. 

KareKare Curl – This 361 foot long slide will have you feeling weightless as you start 50 feet in the air. The wave or curl aspect of the slide leaves you weightless for 35 feet! No single or triple riders are permitted by KareKare. The height requirement is 48 inches and individual riders cannot exceed 250 lbs. 

Ihu’s Breakaway Falls – The brave can get a thrill on Ihu’s Breakaway! This steep multi drop slide is perfect for adrenaline junkies or those wanting to face their fears. The height requirement is 48 inches and water shoes are strictly prohibited. 

Omaka Rocka – The Omaka Rocka takes riders on an exhilarating ride. As you speed down flumes and funnels you’ll feel the extreme thrill of this slide! The height requirement is 48 inches and the max load is a single 250 lb person. 

Pools

Cutback Cove & Big Surf Shores – These giant side by side wave pools are a unique feature of Aquatica. Cutback Cove has constant waves and is always in action. While Big Surf Shores has a bit more of a relaxed feel with slow and easy waves. Weak and non-swimmers are asked to wear a life vest or not pass the black line while in the pools. 

Kata’s Kookaburra Cove – The coolest place at Aquatica for kids is hands down Kata’s Kookaburra Cove. The kids will love water spouts, silly rides, and body slides. Not to mention simply playing in the water! Children must be under 48 inches to enjoy the cove and the water is a max depth of 2 feet. 

Walkabout Waters – The Walkabout Waters are perfect for kids! The seemingly endless water fun will keep your kids entertained for hours. The 60 ft rainforest is filled with amazing colors, characters, and excitement. Life vests are not permitted on the enclosed slides in Walkabout Waters. Children under 6 must be accompanied by a supervising companion. 

Rivers

Loggerhead Lane – This lazy river will take you on a leisurely journey through a tropical underwater world. You’ll find yourself relaxing in no time as you take in the colorful tropical fish surrounding you. Guests under 48 inches need to wear a life vest. Tubes are also required for riding the Loggerhead Lane lazy river. 

Roa’s Rapids – Roa’s Rapids is another river feature of Aquatica, this one is perfect for those adrenaline junkies! You’ll experience roaring high tides, rapids and all at an exhilarating speed. Riders under 51 inches need to wear a life vest and tubes are not permitted in this river. 

DINING AT AQUATICA

Papa’s Cantina – This brand cantina is located near Motu’s Beach Bar. The restaurant features empanadas and delicious boneless wings. Not to mention a delectable Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich for dessert. 

Mango Market – For a quick bite head to Mango Market where you can grab a variety of salads, sandwiches, fries and more. Mango Market is on the All Day Dining Pass. 

Montu’s Beach Bar – This full service cocktail bar offers frozen daiquiris, specialty cocktails and draft beer. Small bites are also available if you are hungry! 

CABANA RENTALS

The private cabanas at Aquatica allow you to steal away to your own private beachfront hideaway. Here are some cabana highlights for every budget: 

Ultimate Cabana$199.99

Located between two wave pools, these cabanas are all about luxury! They accommodate 10 people and include a refrigerator with 16 bottles of water. They also include towels, locker rental, and a ceiling fan perfect for keeping cool in the Orlando heat. The Ultimate Cabana has an in-cabana food and beverage service. 

Roa’s Rapids Family Cabanas$179.99

Located in Roa’s Rapids Island, these cabanas accommodate 10 guests and are perfect for larger families. This cabana rental includes a refrigerator with 16 bottles of water, towels, locker rental, and a ceiling fan making it perfect for family time in the sun at Aquatica. 

Beach Front Cabana $99.00

These beachfront cabanas are located in one of the most desirable locations in the park, between the two wave pools. These cabanas come complete with a refrigerator stocked with 12 bottles of water, as well as towels, locker rental and ceiling fan. 

Roa’s Rapid River Cabanas$59.99

These are the most popular cabanas in the park. This cabana rental includes towel, locker rental, and ceiling fan. Along with a refrigerator stocked with 12 bottles of water. These are perfect for families and a great budget friendly cabana option.

DISCOVERY COVE

Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive day resort where you and your family can enjoy a one-of-a-kind opportunity to swim with dolphins, snorkel with thousands of tropical fish and rays, hand-feed exotic birds and unwind on pristine beaches. With no lines throughout the park, you can plan your adventure at your own pace.

Included in Your Admission

Parking is included with your admission purchase. Both breakfast and lunch are included with your admission (unlimited food and drinks). A premium alcohol drink packages is available for $40 per adult age 21+. Swim with the dolphins, wetsuits and snorkel gear, sunscreen and towels are all included.   • Breakfast at Laguna Grill is available from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Lunch at Laguna Grill is available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

There are several additional fee add-ons you can include in your day at Discovery Cove:

  • Seaventure – Underwater walking tour where, while wearing a dive helmet.
  • Swim with the Sharks – Get up-close and swim with over 20 sharks.
  • Animal Trek –  A private tour that takes you behind-the-scenes to meet birds and small mammals.
  • Flamingo Mingle – meet, mingle with, and help feed the famous Caribbean flamingos.
  • Ray Feeding – Help feed our various species of rays
  • Cabanas – Reserve your own private space, tucked within the landscaping and overlooking waterways
  • Day Beds – Day Beds tucked alongside pristine beaches provide a special place to relax and unwind.
  • Photo Package – Purchase in advance and save.
  • Trainer for a Day – A VIP experience 

ELIGIBLE AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR ANIMAL EXPERIENCES

All-Inclusive Dolphin Swim: Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the dolphin swim experience.

SeaVenture and Shark Swim: Children ages 10-13 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the experience.

Ray Feeding, Animal Trek and Flamingo Mingle All participants must be at least 6 years old and comfortable in water.

WHAT TO BRING TO DISCOVERY COVE

Photo ID: Identification needed for each party member 18 years and older. (ex: driver’s license or passport) 

Credit card: For an optional in-park charge account or souvenir purchases. 

Clothing: Bathing suit and a set of dry clothes. Please note that Discovery Cove is family-friendly, therefore, appropriate swim attire be worn throughout your visit. Children in diapers are required to use water proof protectors or Swim Diapers (can be provided if needed). 

Completed Waivers: Waivers are needed for any minors (under 18 years of age) in your party not visiting with their parent or natural guardian.

WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME 

Jewelry: For the safety and well-being of our marine friends. Please do not leave valuables unattended/unsecured. Park is not responsible for lost, missing or stolen property. (Wedding bands are acceptable.) 

Outside food and beverages: No outside food or beverages are allowed in. This includes alcohol and coolers. 

Flotation devices: This includes noodles, swim fins, sand toys, flippers, and any scuba equipment.
