Grapevine is home to some of the most wonderful holiday events – 1400 events in a little over 40 days – and visitors and locals can’t help but get into the holiday spirit! 

Grapevine welcomes everyone with open arms, big smiles, and very often warm hugs to every event and makes you feel as if you belong in there. Check out the visitor’s guide HERE to make sure you don’t miss anything!

GRAPEVINE’S CHRISTMAS SALE IN JULY BEGINS TUESDAY, JULY 11

Tickets for family-friendly seasonal events in the Christmas Capital of Texas® on sale Tuesday, July 11

Christmas came early this year. With more than 1,400 Christmas events in 40-plus days, Grapevine is the Christmas Capital of Texas. On Tuesday, July 11 at 10 a.m., tickets for several of the most anticipated events of the season will go on sale. Plan for a holly jolly season and purchase your tickets now before they sell out.

Buy your tickets now for Grapevine’s North Pole Express®. This beloved annual event features a magical excursion to the North Pole, traditional Christmas music, a photo with Santa, a “We Believe” silver bell from Mrs. Claus, a visit to Santa’s workshop and Santa’s very own Frosty Chocolate Snow Milk in a memory mug. Tickets for the North Pole Express are $25.  Advance purchase is recommended as tickets sell out quickly, especially for popular times. Dates for the North Pole Express are November 24, 25 and 26 and December 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23.

Step aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad and savor holiday cheer with Christmas Wine Trains. Sip and celebrate the holidays with wine from Grapevine’s Urban Wine Trail. On November 30 and December 14, the Christmas Wine Trains depart from and return to the Cotton Belt Railroad District. On December 7, the Christmas Wine Train departs from and returns to the Fort Worth Stockyards. All Christmas Wine Trains depart at 7 p.m.

Tickets for live performances and classic Christmas movies at Grapevine’s Historic Palace Theatre will also go on sale. Tickets can be purchased at www.Palace-Theatre.com or by calling the Palace Theatre Box Office at 817-410-3100. Tickets will be available for live performances including:

  • “A Merry Little Christmas Show with Ricki Derek,” December 2, 8 p.m., Tickets are $32/$27; groups of 20 or more are $27/$22;
  • An “Elvis Christmas Classic” with Kraig Parker & the Royal Tribute BandDecember 3, 4 p.m., Tickets are $40/$30/$25; groups of 20 or more are $25/$20;
  • Rocky Gribble presents “A Grapevine Opry Christmas,”  December 9, 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25; groups of 20 or more are $20;
  • GENTRI The Gentlemen Trio presents “Finding Christmas,” December 13, 14 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. andDecember 15 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $44/ groups of 20 or more are $38 and
  • Forever Young presents “A Forever Young Christmas,” December 17 at 7:30 p.m. and December 18 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $42/ groups of 20 or more are $36.

Classic Christmas movies at the Palace Theatre include:

  • “A Christmas Carol,” December 1, 7 p.m.;
  • “A Christmas Story,” December 5 and 11, 7 p.m.;
  • “It’s A Wonderful Life,” December 6, 10, 19, 20, 21 and 23 at 7 p.m. and December 20 at 2 p.m.;
  • “White Christmas,” December 8, 12 and 22 at 7 p.m. and December 19 and 21 at 2 p.m. and
  • “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” Double Feature, December 22 and 23 at 2 p.m.

September 14 through 17, 2017 – The 31st Annual GrapeFest – A Texas Wine Experience, is the largest wine festival in the Southwest United States. Celebrating the best of Texas wines, as well as wines from another state in the U.S. and an international destination, this four-day family-friendly festival is one Grapevine’s most anticipated events.  Festivities include the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic, GrapeStomp, the Champagne Terrace, KidsWorld, Texas Wine Tribute gala, pre-event wine and food pairing events, GrapeFest Golf Classic, GrapeFest Tennis Classic, ItalianCarFest, multiple stages of live entertainment and much more!

TEE OFF FESTIVAL FUN AT THE GRAPEFEST® GOLF CLASSIC FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8

Annual Pre-Festival Tournament Benefits Scholarship Fund for Students

Swing into a day of fun at the 2017 GrapeFest Golf Classic. On September 8 at the Grapevine Golf Course, 3800 Fairway Dr., this four-person scramble is the perfect way to tee off the festival fun in Grapevine.

All proceeds benefit the A.J. Harper Memorial Scholarship Fund for area students. Registration is now open and throughAugust 28 is $150 for a single player or $550 for a foursome. After August 28, single player registration is $165 and $625 for a foursome. The tournament is limited to the first 128 players.

Registration for the GrapeFest Golf Classic includes complimentary driving range access, green fees and a golf car, the ace package which features a chance at a hole-in-one-prize and more, breakfast, drawings and prizes, awards, a swag bag for each player including two admission tickets to GrapeFest and a reception and lunch following the tournament for each golfer and a guest.
