Frozen 2 Latest Trailer – What We Know So Far

Frozen 2 Latest Trailer

When the first trailer came out in February, I was surprised how grim and dark the snippet of film seemed to me (Get Ready to Return to Arendelle).

We all know that trailers can be deceiving, and we’ll hopefully see more trailers with different tones and focal areas of the film before November, but I have to say this trailer seems a bit dark and grim to me as well.

Here’s a look at the first trailer that came out in February:

Even though we are now on a second trailer, we still don’t know all that much about the sequel’s plot, other than that it’ll see Anna, Elsa and friends go on an adventure.

Here’s what we know so far:

When is Frozen 2 coming out?

Frozen 2 is set to come out on November 22, 2019.

Who is in Frozen 2?

Idina Menzel (Elsa) , Kristen Bell (Anna), Josh Gad (Olaf) and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) are all set to return. I’ve also seen reports that Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown have joined the cast.

What do the Frozen 2 trailers tell us?

Honestly, I’m not at all clear about the true theme and story line just yet.

In the trailer released in February, we saw Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf all back and seemingly training to fight an evil force.

Apart from new costumes, we also saw floating diamonds and two new featured characters. The diamonds show up in the second trailer too.

We see a new character telling Elsa “the past is not what it seems, you must find the truth”, with a flashback to Elsa as a young girl.

She is also told to “go north across the enchanted lands and into the unknown”, so it looks like our Frozen friends will head off on an exciting adventure.

“But be careful – we have always feared Elsa’s powers are too much for this world,” the character warns. “Now, we must hope they are enough.”

We also see Anna promising that she won’t let anything happen to her sister.

It looks like Elsa is investigating her past, but what she finds there could put her – and the world – in danger.

Why was Elsa born with magical powers?

Will we find out in Frozen 2? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom.
