I have been visiting Walt Disney World® Resort for many, many years and have slowly been working through my list of “must do’s” and “wish I could-s”. There was a time that this list was so long, I could never imagine getting through it. I have already accomplished staying at every on-site resort and riding every attraction (even the ones I don’t like – at least once). My list is forever evolving as Disney adds more experiences so I’m sure it won’t stay this short for very long!
I have taken tours, dined in restaurants, navigated crowds and gone to Walt Disney World alone, all on a mission to cross things off my list. A few I have no control over so I’m sure they will stay on my Disney Bucket List for a long time but I’ll keep my fingers crossed – you never know – some pixie dust just might fly my way! Or better yet, maybe 13 will be my lucky number and I’ll get the chance to cross some of them off this year!
1 – Tours I still want to take:
- Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour
- World Showcase: DestiNations Discovered Tour
- Undiscovered Future World Tour
- EPCOT Seas Aqua Tour
- Dolphins in Depth Tour
- Backstage Magic Tour
- Wild Africa Trek Tour
2 – Be “Family of the Day” to open the Magic Kingdom
3 – See the “Kiss Goodnight”
4 – Rent a luxury RV to stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground – I have already promised this one to my granddaughter so the planning has started!
5 – Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid – See the hidden Mickey that you can only see once a year on November 18th at noon
6 – These two are a really big wish since it would require I stay at WDW for a lengthy time to cover all the events for each of the festivals, but you never know!
- Attend every seminar and event at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in the same year
- Attend every seminar and event at the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival in the same year
7 – Dine with an Imagineer
8 – Get the high score on “Toy Story Midway Mania”
9 – Dine at the Chef’s Table at Victoria and Albert’s
10 – Stay in one of the Polynesian Village Resort bungalows
11 – Make it beyond Round 2 of the Disney Parks Moms Panel application process. Better yet, be selected to be a member of the Disney Parks Moms Panel
12 – Stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite
13 – Stay in one of the four “specialty signature suites” at the Grand Floridian: Grand Suite, Walt Disney Suite, Roy O. Disney Suite, and Victorian Suite.
So …. what’s on your Disney wish list?
