DisneyDining.com has long been one of my favorite “go to” sites for Walt Disney World dining information, so when I was given the opportunity to review their new book, I was excited to jump right in. Dining at Walt Disney World®, The Definitive Guide written by Rick Killingsworth (owner of DisneyDining.com and DisneyQuestions.com) and Paula Brown did not disappoint. The book offers tips and suggestions for dining throughout Walt Disney World® in a concise and easy to read way, there’s even a chapter on budgeting for your food costs while on vacation!
The early chapters offer tips on saving money, special diets, tipping, the Disney Dining Plan and having dinner without the kids. The book is broken down into chapters offering both quick service and full service information and recommendations for each park, each resort, Downtown Disney, as well as the Swan and Dolphin resorts. Chapter 5 is a great frequently asked question and answer session about how to use the Disney Dining Plan properly that even regulars using the dining plan can learn from, with advice on how to snag those hard to come by dining reservations.
Without a doubt, Dining at Walt Disney World®, The Definitive Guide is a must have for first timers as well as for those that travel to WDW regularly.
The hard copy ($17.96) and Kindle e-book ($9.99) are available on Amazon.com – it’s definitely a book every Disney lover or Disney visitor should have. Whether you are a veteran Disney guest or someone new to the Disney travel destination – you won’t want to miss this book!
