Enjoying Myrtle Beach’s spring and summer weather is best when experiencing the many outdoor entertainment options at Broadway at the Beach, South Carolina’s most visited tourist attraction.

Broadway at the Beach is home to many of the Grand Strand’s most popular indoor and outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment experiences.

Outdoor dining with a lakeside view. Broadway at the Beach is known for dozens of delicious dining options and many of them feature outdoor seating, such as The Grumpy Monk, Yamato Seafood Steak and Sushi, Margaritaville, Extreme Pizza and Landry’s Seafood House. These restaurants and more have seating alongside the beautiful 23-acre Lake Broadway.

Feed the fish. Fish feeders are set up along the bridges at Broadway at the Beach. Children and adults alike enjoy feeding the five different species of fish that are in the lake, which gobble up nearly 35,000 pounds of fish food annually!

Cool off at the interactive fountain. Spring and summer bring warmer temperatures and Broadway at the Beach offers a free interactive fountain in the New England Fishing Village East where guests can cool off among the dancing and jumping water jets.

Catch a bird’s eye view on a zipline or ropes course. The WonderWorks zipline soars guests 50 feet above water, and travels 1,000 feet between towers. The pirate-themed ropes course also stands a staggering 40 feet tall and spans three levels.

Mini-golf at Dragon’s Lair. Step back into the Middle Ages with Dragon’s Lair Fantasy Golf, which is in the New England Fishing Village East along Lake Broadway. There’s fun and adventure waiting around every corner as you negotiate the challenging medieval course.

The tradition continues at The Pavilion Park, with three areas to ride at Broadway at the Beach, including Pavilion Park East, West and Central. Pavilion Park boasts family entertainment rides, thrill rides and nostalgia rides and features the Broadway 360 Observation Wheel, standing 156 feet in the air with thirty-six, spacious gondolas accommodating up to six riders and offering guests a breathtaking view.

Create a splash on a speedboat. Make exhilarating memories with friends and family on the Beach Rider Jet Boat. The “roller coaster on the water” takes guests on a boat ride charged by 410 horsepower, spinning the whole family into 360-degree turns on Lake Broadway.

Go gem mining. Mine for gems near Joe’s Crab Shack. Visitors can choose their very own bag of mining sand that is enriched with gemstones and other special surprises. Then, they add to the trough and sift their box through the running water to uncover special gems.

Life is “cooler” at the top of the rock-climbing wall. Challenge yourself to climb to the top of the Rock Climbing Wall next to Johnny Rockets. Guests can choose the path they will take via the different levels of difficulty.

Smile big for the caricature artist. Have a seat and have an artist draw a funny and over-the-top imitation of you and your friends. It is sure to be something your group will treasure for years to come, and will definitely be the conversation starter at your next get-together. Be sure to cap off your trip to Myrtle Beach with a caricature drawing at one of several artist locations throughout Broadway at the Beach.
