Who doesn’t love a good water park? The group at The Adult Side of Disney sure does, and was thrilled to be invited to review the Big Kahuna’s Water Park in Destin, Florida. Carol and crew will be heading to Big Kahuna’s on June 7 for a day full of sun, fun, water slides and wave pools! After they have spent the day splashing and swimming – they will move over to Adventure Park for some mini-golf, speed racing and coaster fun! Big Kahuna’s is two parks in one and a full day of family fun, not only for Florida locals but for vacationers as well.
Big Kahuna’s Water Park offers all day locker rentals, changing rooms and life vests. There are several options for food, drinks and snacks and shopping at Big Kahuna’s Trading Company. Discounted admission is available after 3 p.m.
The park offers a liberal rain check guarantee: If pools and waterslides are closed due to inclement weather for over one hour, and you have your receipt, you will be issued a FREE admission ticket (rain check) good for a return visit. That means, you can come back for FREE. So even if the skies are gray – what have you got to lose?
For those of you who do not want to sit in the sun while the rest of your group frolics through the 40 different water adventures – cabanas are available for rent at various locations throughout the park. Now the fun part! Be on the look out for Carol’s review and photos after her June 7th visit – in that post we will be giving away 2 tickets for one lucky winner and a guest to spend a day at Big Kahuna’s!
