My Favorite Bars and Lounges at Walt Disney World

Whether you’re visiting Walt Disney World with your friends or taking advantage of time away from the kids, you may find yourself craving an adult beverage as you explore the parks.

Here are a few of the hottest spots to get a delicious drink at Walt Disney World parks and resorts.

La Cava del Tequila

This popular tequila and margarita bar is the perfect place to get away from the crowds and relax a bit. It’s located in the perpetual twilight of Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion. The warm atmosphere inside the bar is a great contrast to the artificial skyline inside the pavilion.

Fans of these two liquors are sure to be pleased with the drink menu at La Cava. There are more than 70 types of tequila and margaritas available, including the delicious avocado variety.

Make sure to head to La Cava del Tequila early. It tends to be crowded throughout the entire day. The bar opens its doors at noon.

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an easygoing outdoor eatery just outside the popular restaurant of the same name.

In addition to great cocktails, guests can order from a selection of the menu items available in the restaurant. Better yet, getting a drink at this refined dining option doesn’t require an advance reservation.

I love to grab a cocktail and watch the people stroll (or run) by on their way to Toy Story Land! You never know who may drop by to share a cocktail and entertain you.

Jellyrolls

Jellyrolls provides an atmosphere that’s tons of fun for guests who love music, especially songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s. It’s located on Disney’s Boardwalk, a quarter-mile stretch of food, shopping and entertainment venues.

The highlight of this high-energy bar is the dueling pianos (on stage) playing improv as well as audience requests, in exchange for a tip.

If you want somewhere to sit at while you watch the show, you totally need to show up early. After about 9 p.m., the tables are typically full.

Tambu Lounge

When you’re looking for a place to grab a drink after a meal at ‘Ohana, head to the nearby Tambu Lounge. This laid-back lounge shares a tropical vibe with the rest of Disney’s Polynesian Resort, making it the perfect place to kick back and unwind after a day of exploring the park.

While you’re there, why not try a Lapu Lapu served inside a pineapple? It contains rum, pineapple juice, orange juice and sweet and sour mix. YUM!

Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar

The go-to winery in Epcot’s World Showcase is Tutto Gusto. It’s a table-service dining option themed after an authentic wine cellar, including stone walls and a cozy fireplace.

Along with a full selection of wines, Tutto Gusto serves small plates of pasta, sliced meats and cheeses, paninis and more to satisfy your hunger and compliment their wines.

This is just five of the bars and lounges located at Walt Disney World. When you’re in the mood for a beer, a wine cooler or yummy cocktail, they’re all waiting for you.

And, don’t forget the unique specially drinks that some of the Walt Disney World bars and lounges serve. It goes without saying . . . you’re in for a treat!
