Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach is the Place to Be This Summer

As a local, Barefoot Landing is one of my favorite spots to visit for shopping and eating out. It’s also one of the spots I recommend to anyone visiting the area. Now there are even more reasons to spend some time at Barefoot Landing.

Barefoot Landing is welcoming lots of new merchants and experiences for the 2019 summer season with the announcement of  new shops to explore and the additional of docks offering more space for day docking!

Several new shops and experiences are coming to Barefoot Landing, the experiential retail destination, just in time for the 2019 season.

In addition, a few of Barefoot’s existing merchants are relocating to other storefronts within the area’s only waterway shopping, dining and entertainment destination, along the Intracoastal Waterway.

New merchants already open or planning to join Barefoot Landing include Pearls & Co., Midwest Monograms, Savannah Bee Company, Pick A Pearl, 3D Krystal Photos, Toy Kingdom, and LuLu’s Mountain of Youth Ropes Course and Beach Arcade. Others have relocated within the center including, lo-kuhl, now open in Lakeside Village near the carousel, Himalayan Litez, opening soon next to Bully’s Pub & Grill in Harborwalk Village and Sweet Molly’s, opening later this spring in Dockside Village next to the amphitheater.

Around the corner by Sunglass Hut and Tara Grinna is Pearls & Co., carrying the finest pearl jewelry as well as gemstones, gold and silver pieces. Two shops over Midwest Monograms will open, where visitors and locals can get a unique gift of a personalized, weather proof sign while you wait. Toy Kingdom will delight with toys, games, novelties, dolls, books and much more. They will be across from Blueberry’s Grill.

On the north side of Barefoot Landing and in the Low Country Village area, several new specialty shops are planned.

Grown from the owner’s passion for bees, beekeeping, and honey, the Savannah Bee Company will be opening a location at Barefoot Landing. This retail home of the world’s finest gourmet and raw honey and honeycomb also offers natural and luxurious body care products from the honeybee hive.

Also coming to Low Country Village, Pick A Pearl gives guests the opportunity to pick your own pearl straight from the oyster and then select how you’d like it set in various pieces of jewelry for the perfect beach vacation souvenir. 3D Krystal Photos, unique photos that infuse the art of photography with advanced 3D laser crystal engraving will be opening next to A Silver Shack and is sure to create lasting memories.

Lucy Buffett’s LuLu’s, which opened last summer, recently debuted LuLu’s Beach Arcade and Mountain of Youth Ropes Course in Dockside Village for even more fun, family activities.

Sweet Molly’s Creamery will be relocating to a brand new space in this area as well.

Numerous other changes have been made along the waterway, including gas lights, new railings and the addition of 19 finger docks, which are available for free day docking all year round.

Barefoot Landing has undergone a major transformation, bringing to life the personality and character of the Carolina coast and creating a shopping and dining experience for guests that is distinctly coastal Carolina,” said Kim Kelley, marketing manager at Burroughs & Chapin, parent company of Barefoot Landing. “The natural beauty and coastal charm along with unique shops and boutiques, a variety of culinary selections, experiences for the entire family to enjoy, beautiful landscaping and events throughout the year make Barefoot Landing a must-see, must-experience destination.”
