With the holidays right around the corner, Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach is getting ready to celebrate in a big way. Whether you’re a local or a visitor – you won’t want to miss all that’s being planned at Barefoot!
Barefoot Landing’s annual holiday ceremony, the Lighting of the Landing, willtake place on Saturday, November 17.
The Lighting of the Landing will feature a visit from Santa, along with holiday music from The Alabama Theatre, the Risen Christ Lutheran School Choir, and other local groups and individuals.
The fun starts at 4 p.m. with a petting zoo, holiday inflatable, stilt walkers and making holiday cards for the troops. Performances will begin at 6 p.m. in Dockside Village across from LuLu’s, with the lighting of the 22-foot tall tree to follow. A fireworks spectacular will take place over the lake at 7 p.m.
The holiday festivities will continue with numerous other activities every Friday and Saturday, starting on November 23, including a petting zoo, holiday inflatable, fireworks, visits with Santa, holiday movies and more.

The area’s only waterway shopping, dining and entertainment complex, is celebrating the holiday season with a variety of fun activities the entire family will enjoy. Starting on Thanksgiving weekend the holiday fun will have the kids begging to head to Barefoot!
Every Friday and Saturday, from November 23 through December 15, Barefoot Landing will help put you in the holiday spirit.
