Have you seen Coco? If you have, I’m sure you loved it too! If you haven’t, what the heck are you waiting for? Coco is definitely the best I have seen in a long time. It offers powerful themes of perseverance and gratitude and encourages everyone watching to love and appreciate their family and always follow their dreams. To be honest, I could probably watch Coco over and over again. Coco is a tribute to Mexican traditions. A tribute to family. A tribute to customs. Although young children may not understand the messages, I think they will love the animation and music.
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
