The Adult Side of Disney is planning a series of reviews of off-site resorts in the Walt Disney World® area as an alternative to the higher priced WDW resorts, as well as fighting the ever increasing “no availability” issue of WDW resorts. There are so many resorts to choose from with such a wide range of amenities – many of the deluxe resorts off-site are offer so much, you may consider adding extra days to your stay so that you have enough time to enjoy the resort and other activities in the area. I would like to start this series by introducing you to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort. The resort is located just a mere one mile from Walt Disney World® and just a few minutes drive from Universal Orlando®. I will be staying at the resort in mid-October and will complete a full review at that time. In the meantime, I offer you some information (press release) I received from the resort regarding an end of summer special for Labor Day weekend.
