On March 12 – 13, Master Chef Kevin Dundon will be hosting his annual St. Patrick’s Festival Luncheon & Culinary Demo. Guests can enjoy a live demonstration from the award – winning Chef, with dishes that honor the best of modern Irish cuisine in the beautiful setting of the Grand Room. As part of our Mighty St Patrick’s Festival celebrations Kevin will also host a very special Signature Dinner and Wine Event.
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and we are gearing up for an incredible week-long festival at Raglan Road. The Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival kicks off March 7 – 17 featuring top bands The Willis Clan, Elevation, 3 Dollar Band, We Banjo 3, Goitse, Creel, The Raglan Rebels, The Brayzen Heads and more. In this month’s newsletter we introduce Galway band “We Banjo 3” who will be performing at this year’s Mighty festival.
Award-winning quartet “We Banjo 3” from Galway, Ireland combines Irish Music with Old-Time American and Bluegrass influences to reveal the banjo’s rich legacy and roots. The band is made up of brothers Enda & Fergal Scahill and David & Martin Howley who are among the most celebrated and distinguished young musicians in Ireland today with over 10 All-Ireland titles to their names. Featuring banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, vocals and percussion We Banjo 3 make a bold and extraordinary musical statement. They have spent the last few months playing in all the major festivals across the USA. Their debut album “Roots of the Banjo Tree” was voted the Irish Times Album of the Year. We Banjo 3 have just been granted the prestigious Music Network Young Music wide Award, a professional development award for the best and brightest young music ensembles.
We Banjo 3 are excited about their trip to Orlando to play in the ‘Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival’ at Raglan Road. Here’s what they had to say. “We are coming in March to spread the Banjo Love! Celebrate the longest, largest and most authentic St. Patrick’s Day event in town March 7 – 17 at Raglan Road. Live Irish music, dance and authentic cuisine by Irish celebrity chef Kevin Dundon headline a spirited week dubbed the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival. The line–up of Irish band performances begins with The Willis Clan, a family of artists and musicians who merge their Irish roots with other music and dance genres to create their own unique, celebrated style.
Other exciting acts topping the bill for this year’s Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival include the most successful U2 tribute show in the world, Elevation, We Banjo 3, Goitse, The Willis Clan, Three Dollar Band, Creel, The Raglan Rebels, Brayzen Heads and The West Coast Trio. Raglan Road guests ready to “get their green on” can participate in festivities that run from 5pm until 1am March 7th–14th and from noon until 1am, March 15th–17th.

Beginning March 7th and culminating March 17th, events will feature:
Performances by The Willis Clan, 3 Dollar Band, We Banjo 3, Goitse, Creel The Raglan Rebels, The Brayzen Heads and The West Coast Trio. World–famous U2 tribute band Elevation, playing March 15th and 17th. The Raglan Road Dancers, seven full–time champion dancers, performing daily. Renowned Irish dancer and choreographer Ronan McCormack of the original Riverdance cast, leading Irish Dance Workshops From Roots to Riverdance. Céilí traditional music and structured set–dancing event, during which host Ronan McCormack invites guest participation.

As part of our annual Mighty St Patrick’s Festival celebrations Celebrity Chef Kevin Dundon is hosting a very special Signature Dining Event. Those of you who have attended any of Kevin’s previous signature dinners will know he never fails to surprise & delight and this event will be no different. Chef Kevin will create a sumptuous 5 course feast complete with wine pairings.
The event is not just part of the Mighty St Patrick’s celebrations but also the unveiling of the Raglan Road Cookbook, a beautiful hardcover book that showcases some very special recipes and is filled with great stories about the history and the people who work and visit Orlando’s favorite Irish pub.
